The short answer
Rockerbox tells you what worked. DataCops tells the ad platforms, so they find more of it.
DataCops is a tool that makes the ads learn from real sales: it sends booked, showed, won and paid stages from your CRM back to your ad platforms, gives every visit a bot verdict with a Real people only switch per platform, warms up new campaigns with your existing customers, and logs every send. It is not an attribution report.
How DataCops does it:
- The sale after the form. HighLevel natively (lead, booked, showed, won with value, paid), any CRM by webhook, Shopify through the DataCops Shopify app, all matched to the click by click ID or hashed email and phone, and sent to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Real people only. Every visit gets a bot verdict against 360+ billion IPs and 350+ monitoring points, with a Real people only switch per ad platform, off by default. Every form email is checked for disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score.
- First-party collection, no extra tool. One script and one DNS record put collection on your own subdomain; with your DNS on Cloudflare, the free Worker reads the click at the edge before the page loads. Click IDs are kept on the server for up to 90 days.
- Ads Warmup. Upload your existing customers (up to 20,000 rows), see a 0 to 10 match score per person, and send them to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok so new campaigns start warm.
- Consent, memory and proof. A TCF 2.2 consent banner from your domain with Google Consent Mode v2 on by default, a server-set cookie up to 400 days where enabled, and a delivery log row for every send, counted once against the pixel.
Best for: ad-funded businesses whose sales close in a CRM or on a call: clinics, home services, agencies, B2B and lead gen.
The alternatives at a glance:
- DataCops: best for ad-funded businesses that want the ads to get better. Clean, bot-filtered conversions plus booked, showed, won and paid, sent to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X.
- Northbeam: best for DTC brands that want multi-touch dashboards.
- Wicked Reports: best for subscription and CRM-heavy businesses.
- Hyros: best for funnels, info products and sales calls.
- Cometly: best for simple ad-level attribution.
Rockerbox is a serious measurement suite. Multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling, incrementality tests, TV and direct mail in the same report. If your job is to split a big budget across channels, it earns its place.
But most people searching for a Rockerbox alternative are not short of reports. They are short of results. That is a different problem, and it has a different fix.
A report is not a signal
Here is the gap nobody in the attribution category talks about. An attribution tool reads your data and shows you the answer. Then you have to act on it, by hand, in each ad account.
Meanwhile the ad platform keeps learning from whatever reaches it. Usually that is a form fill, some of it from bots, and nothing after. Meta does not read your Rockerbox dashboard. Google Ads does not know which leads showed up. So the algorithm keeps finding more people who fill in forms, not people who buy.
DataCops fixes the input, not the report. It keeps the ad click on your own domain, checks every visit for bots, and when the lead books, shows up, wins or pays in your CRM, it sends that stage back to the ad that brought them. The algorithm learns who buys, and goes looking for more.
Rockerbox grades the ads. DataCops trains them.
The real difference: who gets the data
Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.
The ad platform gets the sale
Rockerbox collects your marketing data and exports it to BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, BI tools and Google Sheets. That is great for analysts. None of those places is Meta's algorithm.
DataCops sends conversions server-side from your own subdomain to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. Google Ads actions are created as secondary, so nothing changes in your bidding until you decide.
The stage after the form
For a clinic, an agency or a B2B team, the money comes later: the booked call, the patient who showed up, the deal marked won. That is exactly what the ads need to learn from.
Install DataCops once on your HighLevel agency and pick the clients. Form leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals with their value and paid invoices go to each client's ad platforms, matched to the ad click by click ID or hashed email and phone. Any other CRM posts the sale to a private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Cancellations, no-shows and lost deals are never sent. Read more on offline conversions and HighLevel conversion tracking.
Bots never reach the ads
An attribution model is only as good as the visits it reads. If bots click your ads and fill your forms, they get credit like everyone else. We found no bot filtering on Rockerbox's plans page.
DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies (see click fraud protection). Turn on Real people only for a platform and flagged visits never reach it. It is off by default. Once it is on, bots and datacenter traffic are blocked by default, and VPN, proxy and Tor blocking are optional. On the Organization plan, repeat bot IPs are pushed to your Cloudflare and challenged at the edge, and flagged Google Ads clicks export as refund evidence for Google's Click Quality Form. Every bot lead Meta receives is a lead it goes looking for more of.
Consent is built in
We found no consent manager of its own on its plans page. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built to the IAB TCF v2.2 standard. The cookie banner shows in Europe by default, Google Consent Mode v2 is on by default, and the server checks consent again before every send. Visitors can also ask for deletion through a self-serve form, and Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn deletion requests are handled automatically.
You can see why each event was sent
DataCops writes every conversion as a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it. When a client asks why a sale is missing in Meta, you open the row.
Where Rockerbox is clearly better
Credit where due. Rockerbox runs marketing mix modeling and incrementality tests with control groups. It attributes TV, podcast, direct mail and influencer spend alongside digital. It exports to your data warehouse for analysts. If splitting a large TV and digital budget is your main question, that is its home ground.
Rockerbox explains last month. DataCops improves next month.
The real cost of a demo-only tool
Rockerbox has no price on its site. You find out after a demo. But the licence is only part of the bill. The real cost is in the questions nobody asks before they sign. Answer them with your own numbers.
How many hours will it take to build Rockerbox, plus the separate tracking that sends conversions to your ads, before the first sale is tracked?
How many hours a month will someone spend keeping it working when Meta, Google or TikTok change something?
If a tag breaks quietly for a week, how many leads never reach your ads? And what is one lead worth to you?
How many sales a month close in your CRM that your ads never hear about?
The last question matters most. A perfect attribution report does not change what Meta optimises for. If the ads only ever see form fills, they keep buying form fills, however clearly your dashboard shows that most of them never became customers.
Knowing which ad worked is useful. Making the next ad work is the job.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ads that learn who buys | Yes, 8 platforms | Verdict + switch | No | |
Northbeam | DTC attribution dashboards | Not stated | Not stated | MMM+ on Enterprise |

1. DataCops: best Rockerbox alternative overall
DataCops is not another dashboard. It replaces the stack under it: server-side tracking from your own subdomain, a built-in cookie banner, bot filtering, click fraud protection and CRM sales sent back to the ads. It keeps bots out of what your ads learn from and sends the sale that happens after the form to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. The point is that the ads learn who actually buys.
Why people switch to it
- The ads learn from booked, showed, won and paid
- Real people only keeps bots out of each platform
- Free plan and published prices
- Sign up free, no demo
Worth knowing
- Built to improve the ads, not to model TV spend
- Real people only is off until you switch it on
Best for: teams that want better ad results, not a better report about them.

2. Northbeam: best for DTC attribution dashboards
Northbeam is the closest like-for-like swap: multi-touch attribution for ecommerce brands, with published prices. Enterprise adds optional MMM+.
Price also moves with pageviews, and Professional and Enterprise need an annual contract. Like Rockerbox, it is a place to read results, so you still need the tracking underneath.
Why people switch to it
- Published prices
- Strong DTC dashboards
Worth knowing
- Annual contract on the bigger plans
Best for: teams that want Rockerbox-style dashboards with a price on the page.

3. Wicked Reports: best for subscription and CRM-heavy businesses
Wicked Reports prices by annual revenue.
It is good at long customer journeys and repeat revenue. Sending signal back is limited to Meta, and only on the top plan or as an add-on.
Why people switch to it
- Built for subscriptions and repeat buyers
- Published prices
Worth knowing
- Meta signal only on Maximize or as an add-on
- Price climbs with revenue
Best for: businesses where repeat revenue is the story you need to tell.

4. Hyros: best for funnels and sales calls
Hyros sells one plan with every feature, priced by the revenue it tracks.
The bill grows as you grow, so price it at the revenue you plan to reach, not today's.
Why people switch to it
- Setup team included
- Satisfaction guarantee
Worth knowing
- Cost scales with tracked revenue
Best for: info products and sales-call funnels. See Hyros alternatives.

5. Cometly: best for simple ad-level attribution
Cometly is lighter than Rockerbox: attribution at the ad level for media buyers who want a clear answer without an analyst. Check its pricing page for a quote on your traffic.
We did not check it for MMM or TV attribution. It is mainly a reporting tool.
Why people switch to it
- Simpler than an enterprise suite
Worth knowing
- Price on a quote
Best for: simple ad-level answers. See Cometly alternatives.

When not to use DataCops
- DataCops improves the ads, it does not model TV spend. If MMM and direct mail attribution are core to you, keep that report alongside.
- You want an attribution dashboard. Reporting and modelling are what attribution tools are for. DataCops cleans and sends what goes into your ads; it is not a reporting layer.
What's your actual goal?
Nobody buys attribution for the charts. You want five things:
- Capture every lead and sale, first-party, from your own domain.
- Send them to your ad platforms, so Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn and the rest learn who buys.
- Include the sales that happen offline, on a call, in a clinic, in your CRM.
- Keep bots out, so the platforms do not learn from fake leads.
- Know what is working, so you can move budget.
Rockerbox is very good at number five. Numbers one to four are the tracking layer, and that is where DataCops lives. Here is the same goal, done both ways.
The traditional way, with Rockerbox
- Book a demo and agree a contract.
- Connect your channels and add Rockerbox tracking.
- Wait for data to build up, then read the reports.
- Decide which channels worked.
- Move budget by hand in each ad account.
- Set up separate tracking to send conversions to each platform.
- Buy or build bot filtering, a consent banner and CRM syncs on top.
With DataCops
- Add one script and one DNS record.
- Connect each ad platform.
- Switch on the built-in cookie banner.
- Switch on Real people only.
- Connect HighLevel or your CRM webhook.
Then the ads do the learning. Every booked, showed, won and paid goes back to the click that earned it.
A dashboard tells you where the money went. A signal tells the ads where to send it next.
Why people leave Rockerbox
Rockerbox is strong at what it does. People leave for reasons around it.
- No public price. Every plan starts with a demo, so small teams cannot try it or budget for it.
- It is built for big, mixed budgets. MMM and TV attribution matter at scale. A clinic or an agency running Meta and Google gets little from them.
- No send-back listed. Its plans page lists no way to send conversions back to your ad platforms. You still need a second tool for that.
- No bot filter listed. Nothing on its plans page filters bot visits, so bot leads can end up in your reports and your ad data.
- CRM stages stay in the CRM. The booked call and the won deal are the most useful signals you have. A report is not the same as sending them to the ad.
Offline conversions: the signal attribution keeps to itself
Most businesses do not sell on the website. The website collects the lead. The money comes later, and that later moment is what your ads need. Here is what DataCops sends back, by industry.
| Business | What the pixel sees | What DataCops adds |
|---|---|---|
| Clinics, dental, med spa | Booking form | Booked, showed, treatment paid |
| Home services, roofing, solar | Quote request | Estimate booked, job won with its value |
| Agencies running client ads | Form fills per client | Every client's booked, showed, won and paid |
| B2B and SaaS | Demo request, signup | Qualified lead, trial, paid, by webhook |
| Legal, finance, high-ticket services | Enquiry | Consult booked, client signed |
From HighLevel natively, or any CRM by webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Each sale is matched to the ad click by click ID or hashed email and phone.
- A visitor clicks your ad. DataCops keeps the click ID on your own domain for 90 days.
- The lead books, shows up or buys in your CRM, days or weeks later.
- DataCops finds the original click by the lead's email or phone.
- The stage goes to every connected ad platform, counted once. On Google Ads, refunds are corrected too.
Have a list of past buyers? Ads Warmup uploads up to 20,000 rows so a new campaign starts from real customers.
Ads Warmup: tell the ads who pays
Rockerbox tells you which touchpoints led to revenue. It does not tell the ad platforms who your customers are, so new campaigns learn from scratch. The customers you already have are the best description of who to find.
Ads Warmup, DataCops' flagship feature, sends them to your ad platforms before a campaign spends:
- Upload a customer list. A CSV of past buyers, old leads or booked calls. DataCops reads your columns; only email is required.
- See a match score for every person. An estimate from 0 to 10 from email, phone, name, location, click ID and customer ID, before anything is sent.
- Pick the event. Purchase, Lead, Complete registration, Add to cart or Schedule.
- Send server-side. Up to 20,000 people per upload to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok, with a sent, skipped or failed result per person. Google Ads credits only people who clicked a Google ad.
Each row is dated when you press send, not with the old sale date, so it gives a new campaign real customers to learn from on day one. Preview is free; sending needs a paid plan.
What else a reporting tool never does
- Capture at the edge. With DNS on Cloudflare, the free, optional DataCops Cloudflare Worker reads click IDs and UTMs off the first request, before the page or any script runs. It captures; it does not block.
- Keep the click on the server. gclid, wbraid, gbraid, fbclid, ttclid and li_fat_id are stored for up to 90 days, so a deal that closes weeks later still finds its click. A signed server-set cookie lasts up to 400 days where enabled.
- Check the lead's email. Fixed rules, not guesses: disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score. With LeadCops (Business and up), a lead that fails is held and never billed.
- Install on Shopify. The DataCops Shopify app adds a web pixel and a theme app embed, so every paid order reaches your ads, express checkouts included. See Shopify Conversions API.
- Hand evidence to Google. On the Organization plan, the fraud refund report exports bot-flagged Google Ads clicks in the format Google's Click Quality form asks for. You attach it; Google decides.
Setup, step by step, side by side
Rockerbox steps are from its plans page and the usual onboarding for a demo-led tool. DataCops steps are what you do in the dashboard.
| The job | With Rockerbox | |

"15 minutes to get server-side tracking live. After 3 days failing with another app and a DIY server-side Google Tag Manager, that alone sold me. Then support jumped on a Google Meet with me on a Sunday afternoon to finish the job."Andrew Forsyth, Chief Executive Officer, Zeald

Rockerbox alternatives: FAQ
Can I warm up a new campaign with my existing customers?
Yes, with DataCops Ads Warmup. Upload a CSV of past buyers, old leads or booked calls (only email is required, up to 20,000 rows), see a match score from 0 to 10 for every person, and send them to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok as fresh signal, dated when you send. Google Ads credits only people who clicked a Google ad. Preview is free; sending needs a paid plan.
When should I keep Rockerbox instead of switching?
DataCops improves the ads, it does not model TV spend. If MMM and direct mail attribution are core to you, keep that report alongside.
What is the best Rockerbox alternative?
DataCops, because it replaces the stack around your reports: first-party server-side tracking, a built-in consent banner, bot filtering, click fraud protection and CRM sales sent back to the ads. Clean conversions and stages like booked, showed, won and paid go to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, matched to the click. Free up to 2,000 sessions. If marketing mix modeling and TV attribution are the main job, Rockerbox or Northbeam still cover that.
Does Rockerbox send conversions back to Meta or Google Ads?
Its plans page does not list it. Rockerbox is built to collect, attribute and export your data for reporting. DataCops is built to send conversions server-side to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, so the algorithms learn from them.
Is DataCops an attribution tool like Rockerbox?
It does a different job. DataCops is the tracking layer. It captures the click, checks the visit for bots, checks consent and sends the conversion and the later sale to your ad platforms. You get first-party analytics and a click log by campaign. Marketing mix modeling and incrementality tests are where Rockerbox focuses.
Can I use DataCops and Rockerbox together?
Yes. They do different jobs. Rockerbox tells you which channel earned the credit. DataCops makes sure your ad platforms receive clean, complete conversions. Large brands with TV in the mix may run both.
Does DataCops do marketing mix modeling?
No. MMM and incrementality testing are Rockerbox strengths. DataCops improves what the ads learn from, which changes results rather than reporting on them.
Does DataCops filter bots?
Every visit gets a verdict: bot, datacenter, VPN or proxy. Switch on Real people only for a platform and flagged visits never reach it. It is off by default. Once on, bots and datacenter traffic are blocked, and VPN, proxy and Tor blocking are optional. CRM events carry no bot flag.
Which ad platforms does DataCops send to?
Eight: Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn and X connect with one click. Microsoft Ads, Reddit and Pinterest connect with an API key. Microsoft uses its UET Conversions API, which is a Microsoft pilot: ask your Microsoft account manager to enable it.
