Fix Meta Health and Wellness Restrictions Without Sending Patient Data
Clinics and wellness brands get their Meta events blocked when a page link or event name reveals a condition or treatment. DataCops removes the health details before anything leaves and sends clean conversions server-side to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and more, with the ad click and hashed email and phone.

One dental booking
health mode on
- L_1the event name
- yourclinic.comthe page link
- hashed email, hashed phone
- value 250, currency, order id
- root canal treatment
- /treatments/root-canal
- painful gums, medication
- patient name, address
The four struck out never leave your site.
Trusted by agencies and brands running paid media

Who it is for
Any health or wellness business that advertises, from clinics that book appointments to online brands that sell care products.
Dental and medical clinics
Conversion tracking for every booking, without sending treatment pages to Meta.
Med spas and aesthetics
Count consultations and treatments that happen in the clinic, not just form fills.
GLP-1 and weight loss
Semaglutide and tirzepatide programmes close after a consultation, so the sale never reaches Meta from a form.
Telehealth and pharmacy
Send the completed consultation or the filled prescription without the condition attached.
Mental health and therapy
Keep sensitive services out of your ad data while still measuring results.
Fertility clinics
A long consideration cycle closes in the clinic, so the ad platform needs the later stage, not the enquiry.
Rehab and recovery
Measure admissions without a condition or a programme name ever leaving your site.
Skincare and dermatology
Acne, redness, rosacea or rough skin products get flagged when the product page names the condition. Sell the set, keep the condition out of your ad data.
Hair loss and scalp care
Serums, shampoos and scalp care for hair loss are read as treatment. Purchases still reach Meta, the product names do not.
Supplements and mood
Sleep, stress, gut and mood supplements count every order without the claim in the page link or the event.
Intimate and sexual health
One of the most flagged categories. Measure every sale with nothing sensitive attached.
Agencies running clinics and health brands
Turn on health mode for each clinic you manage, all from one agency login.
Why health advertisers lose their tracking
Meta's health and wellness restrictions are strict. One revealing link or event name can be enough to cut off your conversions.
Page links give too much away
A booking page for a treatment or condition tells the ad platform more than it is allowed to see.
Event names say too much
Custom events named after a service can be flagged as health data and held back.
The pixel sends everything
A browser pixel passes along whatever it finds on the page. You cannot choose what it leaves out.
What happens when Meta restricts a health advertiser
It rarely happens all at once. It builds step by step.
- Step 01Meta Events ManagerBook_Implant_Consult BlockedThis event may contain restricted health data
Events are blocked or stripped of detail.
- Step 02Event match qualityGood PoorFewer conversions matched to a person
Match quality drops, so fewer conversions are tied to a person.
- Step 03Cost per lead Rising
Cost per lead climbs as the algorithm learns less.
- Step 04CampaignsNew patients, implantsNew patients, whiteningPaused: no longer finding new patients
Campaigns stall and stop finding new patients.
Send a clean signal from the start and the platforms have nothing to block.
Five protections in health mode
Turn it on once. Every event is cleaned before it leaves, on every ad platform.

Conversions leave from our server, not a browser pixel
- Before: the pixel sends whatever it finds on the page, including treatment details.
- After: DataCops sends each conversion server-side, with only the fields you allow.
- One switch per site. No code on your pages.
Booking event
How it reaches Meta
How health mode works, step by step
Health mode is one switch per website. When it is on, every conversion DataCops sends to an ad platform goes through the same cleaning step first. The cleaning is a fixed list of allowed fields, not a guess. Anything that is not on the list is dropped, so a new form field or a new page can never slip through by accident.
It turns itself on when your site is clearly a health business
Health mode is off by default. The moment you connect an ad platform, DataCops reads your homepage and an AI model decides whether the site is a health or wellness business. Only a high confidence answer turns health mode on. A lower score is shown as "unsure", so you can decide yourself.
Three rules keep this safe and predictable:
- Detection can turn health mode on, but it never turns it off.
- If you set health mode yourself, DataCops never changes your choice.
- The reasons shown in your dashboard are words that really appear on your homepage, so you can see why it decided.
You can confirm the result, dismiss it, or press "check again" after you change your site. Reconnecting a platform on the same day does not re-read the site.
What the ad platforms still receive
Ad platforms need only a few facts to count a conversion and match it to the right person. Health mode keeps exactly those:
- The ad click id, such as fbclid or gclid, so the conversion is tied to the ad.
- Email, phone and your own customer id, hashed before they leave.
- The value, currency, order id, event id and event time.
- The network details and consent signals that matching and consent rules need.
- Your homepage address only. A link like clinic.com/ivf/book?step=2 is sent as clinic.com.
What never leaves your site
Page paths, query strings, the referrer, page titles, product and content names, cart items and every form answer are removed. That covers the usual causes of a health restriction: a treatment in the link, a condition in the product name, or a symptom typed into a form.
Neutral event names for Meta
Meta reads event names too, so health mode renames them before sending. A Lead goes as L_1, a booking (Schedule) as S_1, a Purchase as P_1, a registration as R_1, a contact as C_1, an application as A_1 and a showed appointment as V_1. Any other event goes as E_1. The name tells Meta nothing about the service, while you still know exactly which step it is.
Your own systems keep the full record
Cleaning applies to ad platforms only. HubSpot, Klaviyo, Brevo, ActiveCampaign and your webhook still receive the full lead, because they are your own tools. You keep complete patient records where they belong and send ad platforms only what they need.
Proof of what was sent
Every cleaned send is marked in your delivery log, so you can show exactly what left your site and when. That is useful for your own checks and when you ask Meta to review a restricted account. Agencies see how many of their clients have health mode on from the agency board.
Everything else a clinic needs is in the same tool
Health mode is one part of DataCops. The rest of the stack comes with it, so you do not need a separate tag manager, server, consent tool and bot filter.
- Server-side sending to 8 ad platforms. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn connect with a one-click sign-in. Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X connect with an API key.
- Built-in cookie banner. Shown in Europe by default, built to the IAB TCF v2.2 standard, with Google Consent Mode v2 on by default. The server checks consent again before every send.
- Real people only. A per-platform switch, off by default. When on, it keeps bots and datacenter traffic out of what you send, with VPN, proxy and Tor blocking as options.
- Results after the click. When HubSpot marks a lead qualified, DataCops sends it back with the original click. HighLevel booked, showed and won appointments go back too, under neutral names in health mode.
Good to know before you start
- Health mode is included on every plan, including Free.
- Ad platforms still decide what they allow. Health mode makes sure the data you send gives them no health detail to act on.
- If you optimise Meta campaigns on custom events, pick the neutral names (L_1, S_1 and so on) once health mode is on.
- Your delivery log shows every cleaned event, so you can check the result on day one.
Everything behind each clinic conversion

One first-party script, served from your own domain
- Runs first-party from datacops.yourdomain, not a blockable third-party host
- One script, one CNAME, live in about 5 minutes, no container to host
- Server-side collection on Cloudflare's edge, close to every visitor
- Captures click IDs at the network level, so fbclid and gclid still reach your CAPI feed after browsers strip them
- Recovers 15 to 25% of the sessions other setups lose

Grow your campaigns without giving away health data
A clean signal is only useful if it is also a complete one. DataCops fills in the results that happen after the click.
- 1Qualified leads countedWhen HubSpot marks a lead as qualified, the conversion goes back to the ads with the original ad click. HighLevel booked, showed, won and paid go back too.
- 2Bots and junk filteredTurn on Real people only per platform and bot visits stay out of what is sent.

- 4Patient data stays in your CRMDataCops passes a clean signal and keeps only what it needs to send it.

- Bots kept out. Real people only, per platform, keeps bot and datacenter bookings away from your ads.
- Every platform, counted once. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, with one event ID per conversion.
- The patient who showed up. Booked, showed and paid stages from HighLevel or any CRM go back to the ad click, cleaned by health mode first.
- A record of every send. The delivery log marks each cleaned conversion and shows why anything was held.
- Click fraud, on Organization. Repeat bot IPs blocked at your Cloudflare edge and Google Ads refund evidence.
Meta health restrictions and DataCops, in short
DataCops is a tool that removes health details from your Meta events before anything leaves your site, and sends clean conversions server-side to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn with only the ad click and hashed email and phone.
How DataCops does it
Health mode sends a short approved list
It sends hashed email and phone, the ad click, value, currency and order ID, and blocks everything else. Health mode is included on every plan, including Free.
Page links cut to the domain
A page address such as a treatment path is cut to your domain, so the link no longer tells Meta a visitor read about a condition.
Neutral event names
Events use neutral names such as L_1 and S_1 instead of a name that describes a treatment or condition. Treatment, symptoms, patient name and address never leave your site.
Check your pages first, free
The Meta Health Restriction Checker opens your landing page in a real browser, records every request, and reads what Meta receives. See the free checker.
Send bookings and shows as offline conversions
Booked, showed, won and paid from HighLevel natively, or any CRM by webhook, go with neutral event names, matched to the ad click. Click IDs are kept on the server for up to 90 days, and a signed server-set cookie on your domain lasts up to 400 days where enabled. See Meta offline conversions.
Keep fake leads out, and see every cleaned event
Every visit gets a bot verdict against 360+ billion IPs and 350+ monitoring points, with a Real people only switch per platform, off by default. CRM posts carry no bot flags, so the check applies to the site visit. Every form email is checked for disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score, and LeadCops can hold a lead. Your delivery log shows every cleaned event, so you can check the result on day one.
Best for: clinics, dental practices, med spas, wellness brands and the agencies running their Meta ads, whose events get held when a page link or event name reveals a condition.

When not to use DataCops
You expect an approval guarantee
Ad platforms still decide what they allow. Health mode makes sure the data you send gives them no health detail to act on.
You want treatment-level custom events
If you optimise on custom events, pick the neutral names once health mode is on. Treatment names in events are what get accounts restricted.
You need legal advice
This is a data-cleaning tool, not legal advice. Your lawyer decides what your clinic may advertise.
You need a Meta pixel from another script removed
Another script can add a Meta pixel after the page loads. The checker shows it; you remove it at the source.

FAQ
Yes, within Meta's rules. What usually causes trouble is not the campaign but the data the site sends back: a page link naming the drug or the programme, an event name that describes the treatment, or a form answer about a condition. DataCops health mode strips all three before anything leaves, so the conversion still counts and there is nothing in it for Meta to flag.
