The 5 best Cometly alternatives in 2026

Cometly tells you which ad worked. The question is whether your ads ever find out. We compared five Cometly alternatives on bots, consent, CRM stages and setup.

The short answer

Cometly reports what worked to you. DataCops reports it to the ads, so they go and find more buyers.

DataCops is a tool that makes the ads learn from real sales: it sends booked, showed, won and paid stages from your CRM back to your ad platforms, gives every visit a bot verdict with a Real people only switch per platform, warms up new campaigns with your existing customers, and logs every send. It is not an attribution report.

How DataCops does it:

  • The sale after the form. HighLevel natively (lead, booked, showed, won with value, paid), any CRM by webhook, Shopify through the DataCops Shopify app, all matched to the click by click ID or hashed email and phone, and sent to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Real people only. Every visit gets a bot verdict against 360+ billion IPs and 350+ monitoring points, with a Real people only switch per ad platform, off by default. Every form email is checked for disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score.
  • First-party collection, no extra tool. One script and one DNS record put collection on your own subdomain; with your DNS on Cloudflare, the free Worker reads the click at the edge before the page loads. Click IDs are kept on the server for up to 90 days.
  • Ads Warmup. Upload your existing customers (up to 20,000 rows), see a 0 to 10 match score per person, and send them to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok so new campaigns start warm.
  • Consent, memory and proof. A TCF 2.2 consent banner from your domain with Google Consent Mode v2 on by default, a server-set cookie up to 400 days where enabled, and a delivery log row for every send, counted once against the pixel.

Best for: ad-funded businesses whose sales close in a CRM or on a call: clinics, home services, agencies, B2B and lead gen.

The alternatives at a glance:

  • DataCops: best overall if you want the ad platforms to learn who buys. One script, a bot verdict on every visit, consent built in, and booked, showed, won and paid sent to your ads.
  • Hyros: best for info products and offers closed on a call.
  • RedTrack: best for affiliates and media buyers.
  • Ruler Analytics: best for lead gen and B2B teams tracking calls and forms.
  • Wetracked: best for small ecommerce stores.

Most people who search for a Cometly alternative start with the price. There is no price on the page, only a sales call. That is worth knowing, but it is not the main question.

The main question is who your data is for. Every Cometly alternatives list compares dashboards and attribution models. None of them ask whether Meta and Google ever learn what you just learned. That is what this guide is about.

Who learns from your data: you, or the ads?

An attribution tool is a report card. It tells you, after the fact, which campaign brought the buyer. That is useful. But you are not the one choosing who sees your next ad. The algorithm is.

Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X decide who to show your ads to based on what you send them. If they only ever see form fills, they find more people who fill in forms. If they see who booked, who showed up and who paid, they find more of those people.

An attribution tool

  1. Collects clicks and sales.
  2. Builds a dashboard for you.
  3. You read it and move budget by hand.
  4. The algorithm still guesses.

DataCops

  1. Keeps the ad click on your own domain.
  2. Hears the booked call, the show-up, the won deal, the payment.
  3. Sends each stage to the ad, matched to the click.
  4. The algorithm learns who buys and finds more.

To be fair, Cometly also sells a Conversion API that sends events back. So the real question is what those events are made of: are bots kept out, is consent checked, do the stages from your CRM get there, and can you see why each one was sent? That is where the two part ways.

A dashboard makes you smarter. Sending the sale back makes your ads smarter. Only one of those spends your budget.

The real difference: what the ads learn

Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.

Every visit gets a verdict

Cometly's pricing page lists no bot filtering. DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies, and turns it into one switch per ad platform (see click fraud protection). Turn on Real people only for Meta and about 99% of bots never reach Meta. It is off by default, so you choose where it applies. Every bot lead Meta receives is a lead it goes looking for more of.

The sale goes back to the ad

For a clinic, an agency or a B2B team, the money comes later. Cometly connects CRMs to show you that in reports. DataCops is built to send it to the ads. Install it once on your HighLevel agency and pick the clients. Form leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals with their value and paid invoices go to each client's Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, matched to the click. Any other CRM posts to a private webhook. Cancellations, no-shows and lost deals are never sent. Read more on offline conversions and HighLevel conversion tracking.

Consent is built in

No consent manager is listed on Cometly's pricing page. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built to the IAB TCF v2.2 standard, served from your own domain, and website events wait for consent before they are sent.

You can see why each event was sent

Cometly's dashboards tell you what performed. DataCops writes every conversion as a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it. When a client asks why a booking never reached Meta, you open the row.

Delivery log, one booking

Published prices, counted by visit

Cometly counts pageviews and prices through sales. DataCops counts sessions: one visit, like in Google Analytics, however many pages and events it has, with a new session after 30 minutes of no activity. Past your plan, sessions are skipped until you upgrade or the month resets, so size it for your busiest month.

Privacy and data deletion are built in

Visitors can ask for their data to be deleted through a form on your privacy page: they confirm by email, their session data is anonymised, and a status page shows what was done. Deletion requests from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn are acted on automatically. Click IDs, sessions and the click log are deleted after 90 days, and the identity store holds hashed emails and phones only. Google Ads deletions are still a manual step on your side. None of this is listed on Cometly's pricing page.

Cometly shows you the buyer. DataCops shows the ads.

The real cost of a quote-only tool

Cometly shows no price. Whatever your quote is, the bigger costs are in the questions nobody asks before they buy. Answer them with your own numbers.

Fill in your own numbers. Only you know what an hour and a lead are worth to your business.

The last question is the one that matters most. When the ads only see form fills, they learn to find more people who fill in forms, not people who buy. A dashboard can show you that. It cannot fix it.

The most expensive report is the one the algorithm never reads.

1. DataCops: best Cometly alternative overall

8 ad platforms

DataCops is the tracking solution for ad-funded businesses: it keeps bots out of what your ads learn from and sends the sale that happens after the form to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. Conversions go server-side from your own domain, so ad blockers and Safari do not strip them. Every visit gets a bot verdict. Consent is checked by a built-in manager. The stages after the form come from your CRM, matched to the click, and go to the ads. Every event has a row that says what happened and why.

Why people switch to it

  • Published price and a free plan
  • Booked, showed, won and paid sent to the ads
  • Real people only keeps bots out of each platform
  • Consent manager and agency board built in

Worth knowing

  • No multi-touch dashboards
  • Real people only is off until you switch it on

Best for: teams who want the ads to learn, not just the report.

2. Hyros: best for offers closed on a call

Attribution

Hyros sells to the same buyers as Cometly: ad-heavy businesses that close on calls or through funnels. It markets call tracking and AI analysis, and unlike Cometly it publishes a starting price.

The catch is how it scales. The price rises with the revenue you track, so a good month costs more. And like Cometly, it is first a reporting tool.

Why people switch to it

  • Published starting price
  • Call tracking and AI analysis

Worth knowing

  • Price grows with tracked revenue
  • Still an attribution dashboard first

Best for: info products and high-ticket offers closed on calls.

3. RedTrack: best for affiliates and media buyers

Ad tracking · 14-day trial

RedTrack is built for people who run many campaigns and offers at once. Its Conversion API comes on every paid plan, and there is a 14-day trial.

Watch the event count. Events past your plan are charged extra, and the tool is shaped around affiliate and media buying work, not CRM stages from a sales team.

Why people switch to it

  • Published price and a trial
  • Conversion API on every paid plan

Worth knowing

  • Overage charges on events
  • Built for affiliates, not lead gen pipelines

Best for: media buyers running many offers.

4. Ruler Analytics: best for lead gen with calls and forms

Marketing attribution · from GBP 299 a month for up to 10K visits

Ruler suits lead gen and B2B teams that need to see calls and forms tied to revenue. Phone, email and chat support with onboarding come on every plan.

It is still a reporting tool at a higher entry price, and it counts visits with a low ceiling on the first plan.

Why people switch to it

  • Call and form tracking
  • Onboarding and support on every plan

Worth knowing

  • Higher entry price
  • 10K visits on the first plan

Best for: teams who want call and form attribution with people to help.

5. Wetracked: best for small ecommerce stores

Store tracking · 14-day trial

Wetracked works with Shopify, WooCommerce and funnel checkouts, and sends to Meta, TikTok, X, Pinterest, Snapchat and Google Ads.

It prices by orders, which suits stores. It fits less well when the sale happens later, in a CRM or on a call.

Why people switch to it

  • Low entry price and a trial
  • Many ad platforms

Worth knowing

  • Priced by orders
  • Built for stores, not pipelines

Best for: a small store that sells at checkout.

How to choose a Cometly alternative

  1. Ask who the data is for. If it is for you, pick a reporting tool. If it is for the ads, pick DataCops.
  2. Check where your sales close. In a CRM or on a call? You need the stages after the form sent to the ads.
  3. Look at your traffic. If bots fill your forms, you want them kept out of the ads, not charted.
  4. Count your destinations. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X? DataCops covers them all.
  5. Get a real price. Compare published prices against your own quote, in the same unit.

Pick DataCops if

  • Your sales close after the form: a booking, a call, a visit, a signed deal.
  • You want Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X to learn who actually buys.
  • You want bots kept out, consent built in, and a price you can see.

When not to use DataCops

  • Cometly is an attribution suite. Its multi-touch dashboards and AI Ads Manager are its real strength. DataCops focuses on making the ads learn from clean, real conversions.
  • You want an attribution dashboard. Reporting and modelling are what attribution tools are for. DataCops cleans and sends what goes into your ads; it is not a reporting layer.

What's your actual goal?

Nobody buys attribution for the charts. You want five things:

  1. Capture every lead and sale, including the ones ad blockers and Safari hide.
  2. Send them to your ad platforms, so Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X learn who buys.
  3. Include the sales that happen later, on a call, in a clinic, in your CRM.
  4. Keep bots out, so the platforms do not learn from fake leads.
  5. Stay compliant, with consent checked and data deleted on request.

Cometly is built around a sixth goal: reporting to you. DataCops is built around the five. Here is the same goal, done both ways.

The traditional way, with Cometly

  1. Book a sales call to get a price.
  2. Go through onboarding.
  3. Install the Comet Pixel and connect your ad accounts.
  4. Connect your CRM from its integrations.
  5. Bring your own consent banner.
  6. Read the dashboards and move budget by hand.
  7. Watch your pageview count as traffic grows.

With DataCops

  1. Start free. Add one script and one DNS record.
  2. Connect your ad platforms: one click for Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn and X, an API key for Microsoft Ads, Reddit and Pinterest.
  3. Switch on the consent manager.
  4. Switch on Real people only.
  5. Connect HighLevel or your CRM webhook.

Then let the ads do the work. Every stage goes back to the click, and the algorithm learns from it.

Cometly helps you decide where to spend. DataCops helps the platforms spend it on the right people.

Why people leave Cometly

Cometly is a serious product. People leave for reasons that sit around the reports.

  • No price, no free plan. Every plan goes through sales. You cannot try it on a small account first.
  • The bill follows pageviews. Cometly estimates about 1.5 pageviews per visit, so a content-heavy site pays for reading, not buying.
  • More dashboard than they use. Small teams and agencies often want the conversions sent right, not another tool to read every morning.
  • Bots are not on the list. Its pricing page lists no bot filtering, so fake leads can still reach the ads.
  • Consent is yours to solve. No consent manager is listed.

Offline conversions, by industry

Most businesses do not sell on the website. The website collects the lead. The money comes later, and that later moment is what your ads need to learn from. Here is what DataCops sends back.

Ads Warmup: tell the ads who pays

Cometly tells you which touchpoints led to revenue. It does not tell the ad platforms who your customers are, so new campaigns learn from scratch. The customers you already have are the best description of who to find.

Ads Warmup, DataCops' flagship feature, sends them to your ad platforms before a campaign spends:

  1. Upload a customer list. A CSV of past buyers, old leads or booked calls. DataCops reads your columns; only email is required.
  2. See a match score for every person. An estimate from 0 to 10 from email, phone, name, location, click ID and customer ID, before anything is sent.
  3. Pick the event. Purchase, Lead, Complete registration, Add to cart or Schedule.
  4. Send server-side. Up to 20,000 people per upload to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok, with a sent, skipped or failed result per person. Google Ads credits only people who clicked a Google ad.

Each row is dated when you press send, not with the old sale date, so it gives a new campaign real customers to learn from on day one. Preview is free; sending needs a paid plan.

What else a reporting tool never does

  • Capture at the edge. With DNS on Cloudflare, the free, optional DataCops Cloudflare Worker reads click IDs and UTMs off the first request, before the page or any script runs. It captures; it does not block.
  • Keep the click on the server. gclid, wbraid, gbraid, fbclid, ttclid and li_fat_id are stored for up to 90 days, so a deal that closes weeks later still finds its click. A signed server-set cookie lasts up to 400 days where enabled.
  • Check the lead's email. Fixed rules, not guesses: disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score. With LeadCops (Business and up), a lead that fails is held and never billed.
  • Install on Shopify. The DataCops Shopify app adds a web pixel and a theme app embed, so every paid order reaches your ads, express checkouts included. See Shopify Conversions API.
  • Hand evidence to Google. On the Organization plan, the fraud refund report exports bot-flagged Google Ads clicks in the format Google's Click Quality form asks for. You attach it; Google decides.

Meta health and wellness restrictions

If you advertise a clinic, a treatment or anything health related, Meta may restrict the events it accepts from you. What gets an account restricted is usually the data itself: a page link that names the treatment, an event called Book_Implant_Consult, a form that sends symptoms.

With Cometly, no health setting is listed on its pricing page, so check with them how page links, event names and form fields are kept out of what Meta receives.

With DataCops, you switch on health mode. It sends only an approved list of fields and blocks the rest. Page links are cut to the domain and event names go neutral, so Lead becomes L_1. A new field a clinic adds tomorrow is blocked by default.

One tool where Cometly is one part

Cometly covers one job. Ad-funded businesses usually pay for four or five tools to get from a click to a clean conversion. DataCops runs that whole chain from one script on your own domain:

  • Consent. A banner built to the IAB TCF v2.2 standard, Google Consent Mode v2 on by default, and a server check of the visitor's choice before every send.
  • Bots kept out. Every visit gets a verdict. Real people only, switched on per platform, keeps bot and datacenter conversions away from your ads.
  • Every platform, counted once. Conversions go server-side to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, with one event ID so the pixel and server copies count once.
  • The sale after the form. Booked, won and paid stages from HighLevel or any CRM go back to the ad click that started them.
  • A record of every send. The delivery log shows each conversion as sent, held, skipped or failed, with the reason.
  • Click fraud, on Organization. Repeat bot IPs are challenged or blocked at your Cloudflare edge, and flagged Google Ads clicks export as refund evidence for Google's Click Quality Form.

What to know before you switch

  • Cometly is an attribution suite. Its multi-touch dashboards and AI Ads Manager are its real strength. DataCops focuses on making the ads learn from clean, real conversions.
  • Snapchat is not a DataCops destination. DataCops sends to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X.
  • Real people only starts off. You switch it on per platform when you are ready.

Moving from Cometly to DataCops

  1. Add DataCops to your site. One script and one DNS record.
  2. Send each conversion from one place only. Pick which events DataCops sends and switch those off in Cometly's Conversion API, so nothing counts twice.
  3. Connect your CRM (HighLevel or your webhook) to send booked, showed, won and paid.
  4. Compare for two weeks in Meta Events Manager and Google Ads: match quality, conversions, and what DataCops skipped as bots.
  5. Cancel Cometly at the end of your billing cycle.

Cometly alternatives: FAQ

Can I warm up a new campaign with my existing customers?

Yes, with DataCops Ads Warmup. Upload a CSV of past buyers, old leads or booked calls (only email is required, up to 20,000 rows), see a match score from 0 to 10 for every person, and send them to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok as fresh signal, dated when you send. Google Ads credits only people who clicked a Google ad. Preview is free; sending needs a paid plan.

When should I keep Cometly instead of switching?

Cometly is an attribution suite. Its multi-touch dashboards and AI Ads Manager are its real strength. DataCops focuses on making the ads learn from clean, real conversions.

What is the best Cometly alternative?

DataCops. It replaces Cometly and the rest of the tracking stack in one tool: it sends booked, showed, won and paid back to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, matched to the ad click, with bots kept out and a built-in consent banner. If you only want an attribution dashboard, Hyros, RedTrack or Ruler Analytics are the closest swaps.

How does Cometly count usage?

By pageviews, counted from the Comet Pixel or server-side events. Cometly's own FAQ estimates about 1.5 pageviews per visit. DataCops counts sessions: one visit, like in Google Analytics, however many pages and events it has, with a new session only after 30 minutes of no activity.

Does DataCops do multi-touch attribution like Cometly?

No. DataCops does not build multi-touch models. It focuses on what the ad platforms learn: server-side conversions plus the later CRM stages, matched to the original click, so the algorithm does the optimising. You still get a click log, clean traffic and a per-row delivery log in first-party analytics.

Cometly also has a Conversion API. What is the difference?

Both send conversions back to ad platforms. The difference is what surrounds it. DataCops gives every visit a bot verdict with a Real people only switch per platform, checks consent in a built-in banner built to the IAB TCF v2.2 standard, installs natively on HighLevel for booked, showed, won and paid, and writes a per-row delivery log with the reason. None of those are listed on Cometly's pricing page.

Which ad platforms does DataCops send to?

8 ad platforms: Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn and X connect with one-click sign-in. Microsoft Ads, Reddit and Pinterest connect with an API key. Microsoft uses its UET Conversions API, which is a Microsoft pilot: ask your Microsoft account manager to turn it on.

How does DataCops work with HighLevel?

An agency installs it once and picks the clients. Form leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals with their value and paid invoices then go to each client's ads, matched to the click. Click IDs are kept 90 days, so a deal that closes weeks later still matches. Cancellations, no-shows and lost deals are never sent.

Can DataCops stop bots from being sent as conversions?

For website conversions, yes, when you want it. Each ad platform has a Real people only switch, off by default. When it is on, about 99% of bots are kept out of that platform. CRM events carry no bot flag, so the switch does not filter them.
