The short answer
Hyros explains your results to you. DataCops sends the result to your ads, so they find more buyers.
DataCops is a tool that makes the ads learn from real sales: it sends booked, showed, won and paid stages from your CRM back to your ad platforms, gives every visit a bot verdict with a Real people only switch per platform, warms up new campaigns with your existing customers, and logs every send. It is not an attribution report.
How DataCops does it:
- The sale after the form. HighLevel natively (lead, booked, showed, won with value, paid), any CRM by webhook, Shopify through the DataCops Shopify app, all matched to the click by click ID or hashed email and phone, and sent to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Real people only. Every visit gets a bot verdict against 360+ billion IPs and 350+ monitoring points, with a Real people only switch per ad platform, off by default. Every form email is checked for disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score.
- First-party collection, no extra tool. One script and one DNS record put collection on your own subdomain; with your DNS on Cloudflare, the free Worker reads the click at the edge before the page loads. Click IDs are kept on the server for up to 90 days.
- Ads Warmup. Upload your existing customers (up to 20,000 rows), see a 0 to 10 match score per person, and send them to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok so new campaigns start warm.
- Consent, memory and proof. A TCF 2.2 consent banner from your domain with Google Consent Mode v2 on by default, a server-set cookie up to 400 days where enabled, and a delivery log row for every send, counted once against the pixel.
Best for: ad-funded businesses whose sales close in a CRM or on a call: clinics, home services, agencies, B2B and lead gen.
The alternatives at a glance:
- DataCops: best for teams that want the ads to learn who buys. Booked, showed, won and paid go to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, bots kept out, consent built in.
- Cometly: best for attribution across many ad networks.
- RedTrack: best for media buyers with many offers and landers.
- AnyTrack: best for affiliates.
- Triple Whale: best for Shopify stores that want a dashboard.
Most people look for a Hyros alternative because of the bill. Grow, and you pay more to be told what you already paid for.
But price is not the deeper problem. Attribution is a report. It is written for you. The ad platform, the thing actually spending your money, never reads it.
Who learns from your data?
Here is the question every Hyros alternatives list skips. When a lead books a call and pays two weeks later, who finds out?
With an attribution tool, you do. You see the sale in a dashboard, credited to the right ad. Then you log into Meta and adjust budgets by hand. Meta itself still thinks that ad produced a form fill. It keeps finding more people who fill in forms.
With DataCops, Meta finds out. The stage (booked, showed, won, paid) goes back to the ad platform, matched to the original click. The algorithm learns what a buyer looks like and goes looking for more of them. That happens every day, without you reading a report.
Attribution tool
- Tracks the click and the sale.
- Shows you which ad made the money.
- You change budgets by hand.
- The ad platform still optimises for form fills.
DataCops
- Tracks the click on your own domain.
- Checks the visit for bots.
- Sends booked, showed, won and paid to the ad.
- The ad platform optimises for buyers.
Picture two ads. Both bring in 20 leads a week. Ad A's leads book calls and pay. Ad B's leads never pick up the phone. To Meta, both ads look the same: 20 form fills each. So Meta keeps spending on both, and keeps finding more people like Ad B's.
An attribution tool shows you that Ad A wins. You then have to pause Ad B yourself, in every account, every week. DataCops sends Ad A's paid sales to Meta. Now Meta sees the difference on its own, and shifts delivery toward people who look like buyers. You still decide the budget. The algorithm just stops guessing.
To be fair: Hyros does show its numbers inside Meta and Google Ads Manager as columns. That puts the report where you work. It is still a report for you to read. And Hyros is the better choice for these, which DataCops does not build:
- Rich dashboards across every channel in one view.
- Multi-touch attribution models that split credit between ads.
- Media mix views for planning spend by channel.
- Creative analytics that rank ads and hooks.
If your goal is to understand the past, those win. If your goal is better results from the next dollar you spend, the data the ad platform receives matters more. You can also run both: keep Hyros for reporting and let DataCops feed the platforms.
A dashboard makes you smarter. Sending the sale back makes your ads smarter. Only one of them spends your budget.
The real difference: who gets the answer
Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.
The sale goes back to the ad
For a clinic, an agency or a B2B team, the money comes after the form: the booked call, the patient who showed, the deal marked won. Hyros can credit that sale to the right ad in its dashboard. DataCops sends it to the ad platform itself.
Install DataCops once on your HighLevel agency and pick the clients. Leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals with their value and paid invoices then go to each client's Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, matched to the ad click. Any other CRM posts to a private webhook. Cancellations, no-shows and lost deals are never sent. Read more on offline conversions and HighLevel conversion tracking.
Every visit gets a verdict
An attribution tool counts what happened. It does not decide whether it should be counted. DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies, and turns it into one switch per ad platform (see click fraud protection). Turn on Real people only for Meta and flagged visits never reach Meta. It is off by default. When on, about 99% of bots are kept out.
Tracking from your own domain
DataCops runs server-side from your own subdomain, with one script and one DNS record. Click IDs are kept 90 days, and visitors are remembered up to 400 days (in the EU, with consent). That is what keeps a returning buyer matched to the ad that found them.
Consent is built in
We found no consent manager on Hyros's pricing page. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built to the IAB TCF v2.2 standard, and website events wait for consent before they are sent.
You can see why each event was sent
DataCops writes every conversion as a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it. When a client asks why a sale is missing in Meta, you open the row.
Privacy and deletion in one place
Visitors can ask for deletion through a form on your privacy page: they confirm by email, their session is anonymised, and a status page shows what was done. Deletion requests from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn are handled automatically; Google Ads deletions are still a manual step. Click IDs, sessions and the click log are deleted after 90 days, and the identity store holds hashed email and phone only.
Hyros tells you which ad earned the sale. DataCops tells the ad.
The real cost of a cheap tool
The bigger cost is not on the invoice. Answer these with your own numbers.
How many hours will it take to build your Hyros integrations, UTMs and the reports you act on by hand before the first sale is tracked?
How many hours a month will someone spend keeping it working when Meta, Google or TikTok change something?
If a tag breaks quietly for a week, how many leads never reach your ads? And what is one lead worth to you?
How many sales a month close in your CRM that your ads never hear about?
The last question matters most. If the ads only receive form fills, they learn to find people who fill in forms. A perfect report does not change that. Only the conversion data they receive does.
Attribution tells you where the money went. It does not stop the next dollar going to the same place.

1. DataCops: best Hyros alternative overall
DataCops is the tracking solution for ad-funded businesses: it keeps bots out of what your ads learn from and sends the sale that happens after the form to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X.
DataCops is not a dashboard. It is the tracking chain: the click captured on your own domain, the visit checked for bots, consent checked, and every stage from the CRM sent back to the ad that started it. The ad platforms then optimise on real buyers.
Why people switch to it
- Ads learn from booked, showed, won and paid
- Real people only keeps bots out
- Priced on visits, not your revenue
- Consent manager and delivery log included
Worth knowing
- No multi-touch attribution dashboard
- Real people only is off until you switch it on
Best for: teams that want the ads to learn, not just the report.

2. Cometly: best for many ad networks
Cometly is the closest swap for Hyros. It is also an attribution tool, and it sends server-side CAPI to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft, Reddit and Snapchat. Cometly alternatives.
Why people switch to it
- Seven ad networks
- Attribution dashboard
Worth knowing
- Quote only pricing
- No free trial
Best for: Hyros-style reporting across more networks.

3. RedTrack: best for media buyers
RedTrack is built for people running many offers and landers. CAPI is on every plan, and ad spend syncs every 30 minutes on the Team plan. The free Relay plan is last-click only.
Why people switch to it
- Clear public pricing
- CAPI on every plan
- 14-day trial
Worth knowing
- Built for media buying, not CRM stages
- Relay is last-click only
Best for: media buyers running many offers.
4. AnyTrack: best for affiliates
AnyTrack sends to Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Microsoft Ads, Taboola and Outbrain, and lists 90+ affiliate networks and CRMs, including GoHighLevel. For affiliate marketers it is a strong fit. AnyTrack alternatives.
Why people switch to it
- 90+ affiliate networks and CRMs
- Six ad networks
Worth knowing
- Free plan is one site, one ad platform
- Overages on sessions
Best for: sellers whose sales happen on affiliate networks.

5. Triple Whale: best for Shopify stores
Triple Whale is an analytics and attribution suite aimed at Shopify brands. Like Hyros, its strength is the dashboard. If you sell online and want one place to read store and ad numbers, look at it. Triple Whale alternatives.
Why people switch to it
- Built around Shopify
- Dashboard for store and ads
Worth knowing
- A report for you, like Hyros
- Not built for sales that close in a CRM
Best for: Shopify stores that want the dashboard.

When to pick DataCops
Pick DataCops if
- Your sales close after the form: a booking, a call, a visit, a signed deal.
- You want Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X to learn who buys, automatically.
- You want bots kept out, consent built in, and a bill that does not grow with revenue.
When not to use DataCops
- Hyros is an attribution tool. Its multi-touch reports and done-for-you setup team are its real strength. DataCops is self-serve and focuses on making the ads learn from clean, real conversions.
- You want an attribution dashboard. Reporting and modelling are what attribution tools are for. DataCops cleans and sends what goes into your ads; it is not a reporting layer.
What's your actual goal?
Nobody wants attribution for its own sake. You want five things:
- Capture your leads and sales, server-side from your own domain.
- Teach your ad platforms who buys, so Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X find more of them.
- Include the sales that happen offline, on a call, in a clinic, in your CRM.
- Keep bots out, so the platforms do not learn from fake leads.
- Stay compliant, with consent checked and data deleted on request.
Hyros is built for a sixth goal: knowing exactly which ad deserves the credit. That is worth having. But it only pays off when you act on it, by hand. DataCops works on the first five directly.
The traditional way, with Hyros
- Book onboarding with the setup team.
- Connect store, funnel, CRM and checkout integrations.
- Check your UTMs on every ad.
- Read the attribution report.
- Move budgets by hand in each ad platform.
- Add a consent banner and bot rules from other tools.
- Watch the price rise as tracked revenue grows.
With DataCops
- Add one script and one DNS record.
- Connect each ad platform with one click.
- Switch on the consent manager.
- Switch on Real people only.
- Connect HighLevel or your CRM webhook.
Then the ads do the learning. Every stage goes back to the click it came from.
Why people leave Hyros
Hyros is a serious product. People leave for reasons around it, not because the reports are wrong.
- The price grows with your revenue. Your tracking bill rises every time sales do, and the higher tiers are behind a demo call.
- No trial listed. You commit before you see your own data in it. The ROI guarantee softens that.
- The insight still needs a human. The report says what worked. Someone still has to move the budget.
- Bots are not the report's problem. We found no per-visit bot switch on its pricing page, so fake leads can still reach the ad platforms.
- Privacy sits elsewhere. We found no built-in consent manager or deletion form on its pricing page.
Offline conversions, by industry
Most businesses do not sell on the website. The website collects the lead. Here is what DataCops sends back to the ads, by industry.
| Business | What the pixel sees | What DataCops adds |
|---|---|---|
| Clinics, dental, med spa | Booking form | Booked, showed, treatment paid |
| Coaches, courses, high-ticket offers | Application or call booked | Showed, won with its value, paid |
| Agencies running client ads | Form fills per client | Every client's booked, showed, won and paid |
| Home services, roofing, solar | Quote request | Estimate booked, job won with its value |
| B2B and SaaS | Demo request, signup | Qualified lead, trial, paid, by webhook |
From HighLevel natively, or any CRM by webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Each sale is matched to the ad click.
- A visitor clicks your ad. DataCops keeps the click ID on your own domain.
- The lead books, shows up or buys in your CRM, days or weeks later.
- DataCops matches it to the ad click by click ID or hashed email and phone.
- The stage goes to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, counted once.
Ads Warmup: tell the ads who pays
Hyros tells you which touchpoints led to revenue. It does not tell the ad platforms who your customers are, so new campaigns learn from scratch. The customers you already have are the best description of who to find.
Ads Warmup, DataCops' flagship feature, sends them to your ad platforms before a campaign spends:
- Upload a customer list. A CSV of past buyers, old leads or booked calls. DataCops reads your columns; only email is required.
- See a match score for every person. An estimate from 0 to 10 from email, phone, name, location, click ID and customer ID, before anything is sent.
- Pick the event. Purchase, Lead, Complete registration, Add to cart or Schedule.
- Send server-side. Up to 20,000 people per upload to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok, with a sent, skipped or failed result per person. Google Ads credits only people who clicked a Google ad.
Each row is dated when you press send, not with the old sale date, so it gives a new campaign real customers to learn from on day one. Preview is free; sending needs a paid plan.
What else a reporting tool never does
- Capture at the edge. With DNS on Cloudflare, the free, optional DataCops Cloudflare Worker reads click IDs and UTMs off the first request, before the page or any script runs. It captures; it does not block.
- Keep the click on the server. gclid, wbraid, gbraid, fbclid, ttclid and li_fat_id are stored for up to 90 days, so a deal that closes weeks later still finds its click. A signed server-set cookie lasts up to 400 days where enabled.
- Check the lead's email. Fixed rules, not guesses: disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score. With LeadCops (Business and up), a lead that fails is held and never billed.
- Install on Shopify. The DataCops Shopify app adds a web pixel and a theme app embed, so every paid order reaches your ads, express checkouts included. See Shopify Conversions API.
- Hand evidence to Google. On the Organization plan, the fraud refund report exports bot-flagged Google Ads clicks in the format Google's Click Quality form asks for. You attach it; Google decides.
Meta health and wellness restrictions
If you advertise a clinic, a treatment or anything health related, Meta may restrict the events it accepts from you. What gets an account restricted is the data itself: a page link that names the treatment, an event called Book_Implant_Consult, a form that sends symptoms.
With an attribution tool, this is not its job. It reports on what the pixel sends. Keeping sensitive data out of Meta is left to you and your other tags.
With DataCops, you switch on health mode. It sends only an approved list of fields and blocks the rest. Page links are cut to the domain and event names go neutral, so Lead becomes L_1. A field a clinic adds tomorrow is blocked by default.
Read more on Meta health and wellness restrictions.

"15 minutes to get server-side tracking live. After 3 days failing with another app and a DIY server-side Google Tag Manager, that alone sold me. Then support jumped on a Google Meet with me on a Sunday afternoon to finish the job."Andrew Forsyth, Chief Executive Officer, Zeald
One tool where Hyros is one part
Hyros covers one job. Ad-funded businesses usually pay for four or five tools to get from a click to a clean conversion. DataCops runs that whole chain from one script on your own domain:
- Consent. A banner built to the IAB TCF v2.2 standard, Google Consent Mode v2 on by default, and a server check of the visitor's choice before every send.
- Bots kept out. Every visit gets a verdict. Real people only, switched on per platform, keeps bot and datacenter conversions away from your ads.
- Every platform, counted once. Conversions go server-side to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, with one event ID so the pixel and server copies count once.
- The sale after the form. Booked, won and paid stages from HighLevel or any CRM go back to the ad click that started them.
- A record of every send. The delivery log shows each conversion as sent, held, skipped or failed, with the reason.
- Click fraud, on Organization. Repeat bot IPs are challenged or blocked at your Cloudflare edge, and flagged Google Ads clicks export as refund evidence for Google's Click Quality Form.
What to know before you switch
- Hyros is an attribution tool. Its multi-touch reports and done-for-you setup team are its real strength. DataCops is self-serve and focuses on making the ads learn from clean, real conversions.
- Hyros offers an ROI guarantee and SOC 2. DataCops does not claim either.
- Real people only starts off. You switch it on per platform when you are ready.
Moving from Hyros to DataCops
- Add DataCops to your site. One script and one DNS record.
- Connect the same ad accounts, and send each conversion to a platform from one place only, so nothing counts twice.
- Connect your CRM (HighLevel or your webhook) so booked, showed, won and paid reach the ads.
- Compare for two weeks in Meta Events Manager and Google Ads: match quality, conversions, and what DataCops skipped as bots.
- Cancel Hyros once the ads are learning from DataCops.
Every DataCops product mentioned here
- Offline conversions: CRM sales and stages back to your ads.

Hyros alternatives: FAQ
Can I warm up a new campaign with my existing customers?
Yes, with DataCops Ads Warmup. Upload a CSV of past buyers, old leads or booked calls (only email is required, up to 20,000 rows), see a match score from 0 to 10 for every person, and send them to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok as fresh signal, dated when you send. Google Ads credits only people who clicked a Google ad. Preview is free; sending needs a paid plan.
When should I keep Hyros instead of switching?
Hyros is an attribution tool. Its multi-touch reports and done-for-you setup team are its real strength. DataCops is self-serve and focuses on making the ads learn from clean, real conversions.
What is the best Hyros alternative?
DataCops. It replaces Hyros and the rest of the tracking stack in one tool: it sends booked, showed, won and paid back to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, matched to the ad click, keeps bots out of what they learn from, and runs a built-in consent banner. If you only want a deeper report, Cometly or Triple Whale are the closest swaps.
Is DataCops an attribution tool?
Not in the Hyros sense. DataCops is the tracking layer: it captures the click, checks the visit for bots, and sends each conversion and CRM stage to the ad platforms. It has a click log in first-party analytics, but no multi-touch model or media mix dashboard. If that report is what you want, Hyros does it better.
Does Hyros send data back to the ad platforms?
Hyros shows its stats as columns inside Meta and Google Ads Manager, which helps you read results. DataCops sends the conversions themselves, including CRM stages, to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X so their algorithms optimise for buyers.
Does Hyros filter bots?
We did not find a per-visit bot verdict or a bot switch on its pricing page. DataCops gives every visit a verdict (bots, datacenter, VPN, proxy) and a Real people only switch per ad platform. It is off by default; when on, about 99% of bots are kept out.
Does DataCops work with HighLevel?
Yes, natively. Install once for the agency and pick the clients. It sends lead, booked, showed, won with its value, and paid. Cancelled, no-show and lost are never sent. Any other CRM posts to a private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n.
Can I run DataCops next to Hyros?
Yes, while you switch. Let DataCops send conversions to the ad platforms. Just make sure each conversion is sent to a platform from one place only, so nothing counts twice.
Which ad platforms does DataCops send to?
8 ad platforms: Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn and X connect with one-click sign-in. Microsoft Ads, Reddit and Pinterest connect with an API key. Microsoft uses its UET Conversions API, which is a Microsoft pilot: ask your Microsoft account manager to turn it on.
