The short answer
Wicked Reports tells you what worked. DataCops tells the ads, so they find more of it.
DataCops is a tool that makes the ads learn from real sales: it sends booked, showed, won and paid stages from your CRM back to your ad platforms, gives every visit a bot verdict with a Real people only switch per platform, warms up new campaigns with your existing customers, and logs every send. It is not an attribution report.
How DataCops does it:
- The sale after the form. HighLevel natively (lead, booked, showed, won with value, paid), any CRM by webhook, Shopify through the DataCops Shopify app, all matched to the click by click ID or hashed email and phone, and sent to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Real people only. Every visit gets a bot verdict against 360+ billion IPs and 350+ monitoring points, with a Real people only switch per ad platform, off by default. Every form email is checked for disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score.
- First-party collection, no extra tool. One script and one DNS record put collection on your own subdomain; with your DNS on Cloudflare, the free Worker reads the click at the edge before the page loads. Click IDs are kept on the server for up to 90 days.
- Ads Warmup. Upload your existing customers (up to 20,000 rows), see a 0 to 10 match score per person, and send them to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok so new campaigns start warm.
- Consent, memory and proof. A TCF 2.2 consent banner from your domain with Google Consent Mode v2 on by default, a server-set cookie up to 400 days where enabled, and a delivery log row for every send, counted once against the pixel.
Best for: ad-funded businesses whose sales close in a CRM or on a call: clinics, home services, agencies, B2B and lead gen.
The alternatives at a glance:
- DataCops: best overall if you want better ad results, not another dashboard. Bots kept out, consent built in, and booked, showed, won and paid sent to eight ad platforms.
- Triple Whale: best for Shopify brands that want a reporting hub.
- Northbeam: best for large DTC brands with big ad budgets.
- Hyros: best for info products and coaching sold on calls.
- Cometly: best for ad attribution tied to a CRM.
Every Wicked Reports alternatives list compares dashboards: which one has better cohorts, better models, better charts. None of them ask the question that decides your cost per sale. Does the ad platform ever learn who bought?
A report does not teach your ads
Attribution tools are built for you. They tie each sale to the click behind it and show you the answer in a report. You read it, then you move budget by hand.
Your ad platforms do not read your report. Their algorithms learn from the conversions you send them. If they only get form fills, they go find more people who fill in forms. If they get the booked call, the show-up and the won deal, matched to the click, they go find more buyers.
We found no sending to TikTok or LinkedIn. Its core product is still the report.
DataCops is built the other way round. It replaces the stack under the report: server-side tracking, a built-in cookie banner, bot filtering, click fraud protection and CRM sales sent to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. It is the tracking itself: one script captures the click, keeps bots out, checks consent, and sends every real stage to the ads. The algorithm does the budget moving for you, every hour, not once a week.
Picture one week. A handful of leads come in from Meta. Some book a call, fewer show up, one signs. A report tells you that ad set works, and you raise its budget on Monday. With DataCops, Meta already heard about the booking on Tuesday, the show-up on Thursday and the won deal, with its value, on Friday, each matched to the click that started it. It starts looking for the next person like that buyer the same day.
That is the difference in one line. An attribution tool answers "what worked?" for you. DataCops answers it for the algorithm that spends your budget.
A dashboard makes you smarter. Sending the sale back makes your ads smarter. Only one of those runs while you sleep.
One honest caveat. If you sell on Shopify and every sale happens at checkout, your purchases already reach the ads through the pixel or the platform apps. Then the gap is smaller. The case for DataCops becomes four plain things:
- Bots kept out, so the ads do not learn from fake visits and junk leads.
- Consent handled, with a built-in cookie banner, not another vendor.
- First-party capture from your own subdomain, so ad blockers and Safari lose less.
- No dashboard to babysit. Nobody has to read a report before the ads get better.
Where Wicked Reports is clearly better is reporting depth: multi-touch models, cohorts, LTV and creative analytics for e-commerce teams that read them every week.
The real difference: who the data is for
Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.
The stage goes back to the ad
For a clinic, an agency or a B2B team, the money comes after the form. Wicked Reports can show you that stage in a report, for the CRMs it connects.
DataCops sends it to the ad platform. Install once on your HighLevel agency and pick the clients. Leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals with their value and paid invoices go to every connected ad platform, matched to the click. Any other CRM posts to a private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Cancellations, no-shows and lost deals are never sent. See offline conversions and HighLevel conversion tracking.
Every visit gets a verdict
We found no bot, VPN or datacenter filtering on Wicked Reports' site. Bot clicks and fake leads end up in the reports as if they were people.
DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies. Turn on Real people only for a platform and flagged visits never reach it. It is off by default. Once on, bots and datacenter traffic are blocked, and VPN, proxy and Tor blocking are optional. On the Organization plan, repeat bot IPs are pushed to your Cloudflare and challenged at the edge, and flagged Google Ads clicks export as refund evidence. See click fraud protection.
Eight platforms learn, not one
Wicked Reports pulls spend from six ad platforms, which is great for reports. Sending conversions back is Meta (paid) and a Google Ads feature, per its site in September 2026. DataCops sends to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. Google Ads actions are created as secondary, so nothing changes your bidding until you choose.
Consent is built in
We found no consent manager on Wicked Reports' site. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built to the IAB TCF v2.2 standard. The cookie banner shows in Europe by default, Google Consent Mode v2 is on by default, and the server checks consent again before every send.
You can see why each event was sent
DataCops writes every conversion as a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it. When a client asks why Meta shows fewer leads, you open the row.
Privacy and data deletion are built in
Visitors can ask for deletion through a form on your privacy page: they confirm by email, their session data is anonymised, and a status page shows what was done. Deletion requests from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn are acted on automatically. Click IDs, sessions and the click log are deleted after 90 days. The identity store holds hashed emails and phones only. Google Ads deletions are still a manual step. We found no self-serve deletion flow on Wicked Reports' site.
Wicked Reports explains last month. DataCops improves next month.
The real cost of a cheap tool
The rest of the cost is in the questions nobody asks before they buy. Answer them with your own numbers.
How many hours will it take to build your Wicked Reports integrations, CRM webhooks and weekly report reviews before the first sale is tracked?
How many hours a month will someone spend keeping it working when Meta, Google or TikTok change something?
If a tag breaks quietly for a week, how many leads never reach your ads? And what is one lead worth to you?
How many sales a month close in your CRM that your ads never hear about?
The last question matters most. A report can tell you a campaign brings buyers. If the ad platform still only sees form fills, it keeps optimising for form fills. You pay for the insight and the waste.
The most expensive report is the one the algorithm never reads.

1. DataCops: best Wicked Reports alternative overall
DataCops replaces the stack under your reports: server-side tracking, a built-in cookie banner, bot filtering, click fraud protection and CRM sales sent back to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. It captures the click first-party from your own domain, checks every visit for bots, checks consent, and sends the real outcome to the ad platforms. The booked call, the show-up, the won deal with its value. The ads then find more people like your buyers.
Why people switch to it
- The ads learn from sales, not form fills
- Real people only keeps bots out of each platform
- HighLevel native, any CRM by webhook
- About a tenth of Wicked Reports' entry price
Worth knowing
- Built to improve the ads, not to be a cohort reporting suite
- Real people only is off until you switch it on
Best for: anyone who wants better ad results more than better reports.

2. Triple Whale: best for Shopify brands
Triple Whale is built around Shopify. It pulls orders, spend and customer data into one dashboard and is the usual pick for a store that wants attribution without Wicked Reports' price. Its pricing page blocked us, so check the numbers on their site before you buy.
It is still a reporting tool. For a store where every sale happens at checkout, that may be all you need. See our Triple Whale alternatives.
Why people switch to it
- Made for Shopify
- A free plan to start
Worth knowing
- Price rises with store revenue
- Less fit for leads and CRM sales
Best for: Shopify stores that want a cheaper dashboard.

3. Northbeam: best for big DTC budgets
Northbeam is the heavier option: modelled attribution for brands spending seriously on ads. See our Northbeam alternatives.
Why people switch to it
- Deep modelling for big spend
- Built for large DTC teams
Worth knowing
- Costs more than Wicked Reports
- Annual contracts on higher plans
Best for: brands spending millions on ads that want more modelling.

4. Hyros: best for info products and calls
Hyros is popular with info-product and coaching businesses that sell on calls and want tracking tied to those calls. It does not publish a price, so you book a call to find out. See our Hyros alternatives.
Why people switch to it
- Made for call-based sales
- Strong in the info-product world
Worth knowing
- No public price
- Still a reporting tool first
Best for: coaching or course sellers closing on calls who want its reports.

5. Cometly: best for attribution with a CRM
Cometly ties ad attribution to your CRM data and prices by pageviews. There is no free trial and no public price: you book a call. See our Cometly alternatives.
Why people switch to it
- Attribution tied to CRM data
- 20% off on yearly billing
Worth knowing
- No public price or trial
- Priced by pageviews
Best for: teams that want attribution reports built around your CRM.
When not to use DataCops
- DataCops improves the ads, it is not a cohort reporting suite. The ad platforms' own algorithms do the optimising, fed with your real sales.
- You want an attribution dashboard. Reporting and modelling are what attribution tools are for. DataCops cleans and sends what goes into your ads; it is not a reporting layer.
What's your actual goal?
Nobody wants a reporting tool for its own sake. You want five things:
- Capture every lead and sale, including the ones ad blockers and Safari hide.
- Send them to your ad platforms, so Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn and the rest learn who buys.
- Include the sales that happen offline, on a call, in a clinic, in your CRM.
- Keep bots out, so the platforms do not learn from fake leads.
- Stay compliant, with consent checked and data deleted on request.
Wicked Reports is strongest at a sixth thing: explaining what happened. Here is the goal done both ways.
The traditional way, with Wicked Reports
- Install tracking and connect your cart and CRM.
- Connect each ad account for spend.
- Pay extra for Meta CAPI if you are below Maximize.
- Wire other CRMs through API, Zapier or webhooks.
- Buy a consent banner from another vendor.
- Deal with bots somewhere else.
- Read the reports every week and move budget by hand.
With DataCops
- Add one script and one DNS record.
- Connect each ad platform with one click.
- Switch on the built-in cookie banner.
- Switch on Real people only.
- Connect HighLevel or your CRM webhook.
Then let the ads learn. The algorithm moves budget toward buyers on its own.
Wicked Reports gives you the answer. DataCops gives it to the one who spends your money.
Why people leave Wicked Reports
Wicked Reports is a serious reporting tool. People leave for reasons around it.
- Grow, and the plan grows too.
- TikTok and LinkedIn never hear the sale. We found no conversion sending to either.
- Bots count as visits. We found no bot or VPN filtering, so fake leads sit in the numbers.
- Someone has to act on it. Reports only help if a person reads them and moves budget.
- No HighLevel native. Agencies wire each client through API, Zapier or webhooks.
Offline conversions, by industry
Most businesses do not sell on the website. The website collects the lead. The money comes later, and that later moment is what your ads need to learn from.
| Business | What the pixel sees | What DataCops adds |
|---|---|---|
| Clinics, dental, med spa | Booking form | Booked, showed, treatment paid |
| Home services, roofing, solar | Quote request | Estimate booked, job won with its value |
| Agencies running client ads | Form fills per client | Every client's booked, showed, won and paid |
| Coaching and info products | Call booked | Showed up, won with its value |
| B2B and SaaS | Demo request, signup | Qualified lead, paid, by webhook |
From HighLevel natively, or any CRM by webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Each sale is matched to the ad click by email or phone.
- A visitor clicks your ad. DataCops keeps the click ID on your own domain for 90 days.
- The lead books, shows up or buys in your CRM, days or weeks later.
- DataCops matches the stage to the ad click by click ID or hashed email and phone. The identity store keeps only hashed email and phone.
- The stage goes to every connected ad platform, counted once. On Google Ads, refunds are corrected too. Each row in the delivery log shows sent, held, skipped or failed.
Ads Warmup: tell the ads who pays
Wicked Reports tells you which touchpoints led to revenue. It does not tell the ad platforms who your customers are, so new campaigns learn from scratch. The customers you already have are the best description of who to find.
Ads Warmup, DataCops' flagship feature, sends them to your ad platforms before a campaign spends:
- Upload a customer list. A CSV of past buyers, old leads or booked calls. DataCops reads your columns; only email is required.
- See a match score for every person. An estimate from 0 to 10 from email, phone, name, location, click ID and customer ID, before anything is sent.
- Pick the event. Purchase, Lead, Complete registration, Add to cart or Schedule.
- Send server-side. Up to 20,000 people per upload to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok, with a sent, skipped or failed result per person. Google Ads credits only people who clicked a Google ad.
Each row is dated when you press send, not with the old sale date, so it gives a new campaign real customers to learn from on day one. Preview is free; sending needs a paid plan.
What else a reporting tool never does
- Capture at the edge. With DNS on Cloudflare, the free, optional DataCops Cloudflare Worker reads click IDs and UTMs off the first request, before the page or any script runs. It captures; it does not block.
- Keep the click on the server. gclid, wbraid, gbraid, fbclid, ttclid and li_fat_id are stored for up to 90 days, so a deal that closes weeks later still finds its click. A signed server-set cookie lasts up to 400 days where enabled.
- Check the lead's email. Fixed rules, not guesses: disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score. With LeadCops (Business and up), a lead that fails is held and never billed.
- Install on Shopify. The DataCops Shopify app adds a web pixel and a theme app embed, so every paid order reaches your ads, express checkouts included. See Shopify Conversions API.
- Hand evidence to Google. On the Organization plan, the fraud refund report exports bot-flagged Google Ads clicks in the format Google's Click Quality form asks for. You attach it; Google decides.
Setup, step by step, side by side
Here is the same job done both ways.
| The job | With Wicked Reports | |
|---|---|---|
| Capture clicks first-party | Install its tracking and connect cart and ad accounts. | Add one script and one DNS record. Server-side from your subdomain. |
| Send conversions to Meta | — | Connect Meta with one click. |
| Send to TikTok, LinkedIn and the rest | We found no way to. | One click for TikTok and LinkedIn. An API key for Microsoft Ads, Reddit and Pinterest. |
| Connect a CRM | Klaviyo native. Others by API, Zapier or webhooks. | HighLevel native, install once for the agency. Others by webhook. |
| Handle consent | Bring your own banner. | Switch on the built-in cookie banner, built to the IAB TCF v2.2 standard. |
| Keep bots out | Not found on its site. | Switch on Real people only per platform. |
| Act on the data | Read reports and move budget. | The ad platforms learn from the stages you send. |
"15 minutes to get server-side tracking live. After 3 days failing with another app and a DIY server-side Google Tag Manager, that alone sold me. Then support jumped on a Google Meet with me on a Sunday afternoon to finish the job."Andrew Forsyth, Chief Executive Officer, Zeald
What to know before you switch
- DataCops improves the ads, it is not a cohort reporting suite. The ad platforms' own algorithms do the optimising, fed with your real sales.
- Switch Real people only on from day one. It starts off on a new site.
- Microsoft Ads uses a pilot API. Ask your Microsoft account manager to enable the UET Conversions API, then paste your key.
Moving from Wicked Reports to DataCops
- Add DataCops. One script and one DNS record.
- Connect the same ad accounts, and send each conversion to Meta from one place only. If Advanced Signal is on, switch it off for the events DataCops sends.
- Connect your CRM (HighLevel or your webhook) so booked, showed and won reach the ads.
- Watch for two weeks in Meta Events Manager and Google Ads: match quality, conversions, and what DataCops skipped as bots.
- Cancel Wicked Reports at renewal once your ads run on DataCops data.
Every DataCops product mentioned here

Wicked Reports alternatives: FAQ
Can I warm up a new campaign with my existing customers?
Yes, with DataCops Ads Warmup. Upload a CSV of past buyers, old leads or booked calls (only email is required, up to 20,000 rows), see a match score from 0 to 10 for every person, and send them to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok as fresh signal, dated when you send. Google Ads credits only people who clicked a Google ad. Preview is free; sending needs a paid plan.
When should I keep Wicked Reports instead of switching?
DataCops improves the ads, it is not a cohort reporting suite. The ad platforms' own algorithms do the optimising, fed with your real sales.
What is the best Wicked Reports alternative?
DataCops, because it replaces the stack around your reports: first-party server-side tracking, a built-in consent banner, bot filtering, click fraud protection and CRM sales sent back to the ads. Booked, showed, won and paid go to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, matched to the ad click, so the algorithm finds more buyers. Free up to 2,000 sessions.
Does Wicked Reports send conversions back to the ad platforms?
Partly. We found no conversion sending to TikTok or LinkedIn. Its core job is reporting to you.
Does Wicked Reports filter bots?
We found no bot, VPN or datacenter filtering on its site. DataCops gives every visit a verdict and, with Real people only switched on for a platform, keeps flagged visits out of it. It is off by default. Once on, bots and datacenter traffic are blocked, and VPN, proxy and Tor blocking are optional.
Does Wicked Reports have a consent manager?
We found none on its site. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built to the IAB TCF v2.2 standard. The banner shows in Europe by default, Google Consent Mode v2 is on by default, and the server checks consent again before every send.
Does Wicked Reports work with HighLevel?
Klaviyo is the only CRM it names. Other CRMs connect through its API, Zapier or webhooks. DataCops is native to HighLevel: install once for the agency, pick the clients, and leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals with value and paid invoices go to the ads.
Is DataCops an attribution tool?
It does a different job. DataCops captures the click, keeps bots out, and sends the real outcome back to the ad platforms so they optimise for buyers. You get first-party analytics and a click log by campaign. Cohort and LTV reports are where Wicked Reports focuses.
Can I use DataCops and Wicked Reports together?
Yes, as long as each conversion is sent to Meta from one place only, so nothing counts twice. Once DataCops sends clean conversions and CRM stages to the ads, most of the reason to pay for a dashboard is gone.
Which ad platforms does DataCops send to?
Eight: Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn and X connect with one click. Microsoft Ads, Reddit and Pinterest connect with an API key. Microsoft uses its UET Conversions API, which is a Microsoft pilot: ask your Microsoft account manager to enable it.
