The short answer
JENTIS moves your events well. DataCops decides which events deserve to go, and adds the sales that happen after the click.
DataCops is a tool that does the ad-conversion job without a container, warehouse or plugin: one script and one DNS record on your own domain, a bot verdict on every visit with a Real people only switch per ad platform, the real sale from your CRM or Shopify sent back to your ads, new campaigns warmed up with the customers you already have, and a log of every send.
How DataCops does it:
- First-party collection, no extra tool. One script and one DNS record put collection on your own subdomain; with your DNS on Cloudflare, the free Worker reads the click at the edge before the page loads. Click IDs are kept on the server for up to 90 days.
- Real people only. Every visit gets a bot verdict against 360+ billion IPs and 350+ monitoring points, with a Real people only switch per ad platform, off by default. Every form email is checked for disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score.
- The sale after the form. HighLevel natively (lead, booked, showed, won with value, paid), any CRM by webhook, Shopify through the DataCops Shopify app, all matched to the click by click ID or hashed email and phone, and sent to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Ads Warmup. Upload your existing customers (up to 20,000 rows), see a 0 to 10 match score per person, and send them to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok so new campaigns start warm.
- Consent, memory and proof. A TCF 2.2 consent banner from your domain with Google Consent Mode v2 on by default, a server-set cookie up to 400 days where enabled, and a delivery log row for every send, counted once against the pixel.
Best for: teams who want better ad conversions without building or maintaining the pipe: lead gen, ecommerce, clinics, home services, B2B and agencies.
The alternatives at a glance:
- DataCops: best if you run ads and want the data right. One script, a bot verdict on every visit, consent built in, CRM stages sent to your ads, prices on the page.
- Stape: best for cheap hosted server-side GTM.
- Addingwell: best for EU teams who want hosted GTM with human support.
- TAGGRS: best for agencies standardising on server-side GTM.
- Tealium: best if you need a full enterprise tag and data platform.
Most people who search for a JENTIS alternative start with one of two things. The price is not on the page, or the setup feels built for a company much bigger than theirs. Both are fair. But the bigger question is what the pipeline actually does with your data.
Hosting the work is not doing it
JENTIS is good at its job. The Twin Server runs tracking in the browser and on the server together. Ad blockers and short cookie lives lose less data. The infrastructure is managed for you. That part works.
Now look at what a pipeline does not do. A pipeline or a server-side host moves your events. It does not decide which ones deserve to go. And it never sees the CRM sale, because the sale happens a week later, on a call, outside the website.
So think of tracking as a chain: catch the visit, check it is a real person, get consent, send it to each ad platform in the right shape, then add the sale from your CRM. JENTIS sells one link of that chain, and does it well. DataCops is built to run the whole chain.
- Bots are delivered reliably. A bot that fills your form is a conversion. A better pipe sends it to Meta faster and more often.
- The sale is still missing. The booked call, the show-up and the won deal live in your CRM. The pipe never hears about them.
- Someone still does the work. Mapping, rules and checks are yours or your partner's. Managed hosting means someone else runs the servers, not your tracking decisions.
A pipeline makes your data travel better. It does not make it better data.
Fair is fair: JENTIS wins on warehouse destinations, schema control and engineering flexibility. If you need a data warehouse feed, control over every field, or engineers routing events to dozens of tools, a pipeline is the right shape. JENTIS, RudderStack and Snowplow are built for that. DataCops is not.
The real difference: what goes through the pipe
Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.
Start today, see the price
With JENTIS you start with a sales call and a managed onboarding. For a large company, that is part of the service.
Add one script and one DNS record, and connect Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. A session is one visit, like in Google Analytics.
Every visit gets a verdict
JENTIS recovers traffic that ad blockers would hide. That is good, and it also means more of everything arrives, bots included. We did not find a per-visit bot verdict listed on its site.
DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies, and turns it into one switch per ad platform (see click fraud protection). Turn on Real people only for Meta and flagged visits never reach Meta. With it on, about 99% of bots are kept out. It is off by default, so you choose where it applies. Every bot lead Meta receives is a lead it goes looking for more of.
The sale happens after the form
For a clinic, an agency or a B2B team, the money comes later: the booked call, the patient who showed up, the deal marked won. A pipeline sees the website. The CRM is somewhere else.
DataCops is built around that moment. Install it once on your HighLevel agency and pick the clients. Form leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals with their value and paid invoices go to each client's Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, matched to the ad click. Any other CRM posts the sale to a private webhook. Cancellations, no-shows and lost deals are never sent. Read more on offline conversions and HighLevel conversion tracking.
Consent is built in
JENTIS has Essential Mode, which measures visitors who did not consent in a pseudonymised way. That is a real strength. For the banner itself, JENTIS appears to work with your consent tool. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, and website events wait for consent before they are sent.
You can see why each event was sent
DataCops writes every conversion as a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it. When a client asks why last month's conversions dropped, you open the row. We did not find a log like this listed on the JENTIS site.
Privacy and data deletion are built in
JENTIS gives enterprises strong privacy controls per data point and a choice of EU or US cloud. DataCops handles the everyday legal jobs in one place. Visitors ask for deletion through a form on your privacy page: they confirm by email, their session is anonymised, and a status page shows what was done. Deletion requests from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn are acted on automatically. Click IDs, sessions and the click log are deleted after 90 days, and the identity store holds hashed emails and phones only. Google Ads deletions are still a manual step.
JENTIS makes sure the event arrives. DataCops asks whether it should have.
The real cost of a contact-sales tool
JENTIS has no price on its site. You find out on a call. That is normal for enterprise software, but it means the plan is only part of the cost. Answer these with your own numbers.
How many hours will it take to build your JENTIS mappings, bot rules and CRM flow before the first sale is tracked?
How many hours a month will someone spend keeping it working when Meta, Google or TikTok change something?
If a tag breaks quietly for a week, how many leads never reach your ads? And what is one lead worth to you?
How many sales a month close in your CRM that your ads never hear about?
The last question matters most. When the ads only see form fills, they learn to find more people who fill in forms, not people who buy. Lead quality drops, cost per sale climbs, and nothing in the dashboard tells you why.
The price you cannot see is rarely the one that hurts. The sales your ads never learn from are.

1. DataCops: best JENTIS alternative for ad-driven teams
DataCops is the tracking solution for ad-funded businesses: it keeps bots out of what your ads learn from and sends the sale that happens after the form to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. On the basics, DataCops does what JENTIS does for ads: conversions go server-side from your own domain, first-party from your own subdomain. The difference is everything around the pipe. Every visit gets a bot verdict. Consent is checked by a built-in manager. The stages after the form come from your CRM, matched to the click. And every event has a row that says what happened and why.
Why people switch to it
- Free plan and prices on the page
- Real people only keeps bots out of each platform
- Booked, showed, won and paid from HighLevel or any CRM
- Agency board with every client on one login
Worth knowing
- Real people only is off until you switch it on
- Edge blocking and refund evidence are on Organization
Best for: teams whose goal is better ad results, not a bigger pipeline.

2. Stape: best for cheap hosted server-side GTM
Stape hosts your server-side GTM container at a clear, low price. If you like building in GTM and want many destinations, it is the budget route away from a contact-sales plan. One container covers one site.
The catch: you build and maintain the container yourself, and bots and CRM stages are still your job. See our Stape alternatives guide.
Why people switch to it
- Public, low prices
- Any destination with a server tag
Worth knowing
- You need someone who knows GTM
- No managed onboarding like JENTIS
Best for: teams who want GTM hosting at the lowest cost.

3. Addingwell: best for EU teams who want support
Addingwell hosts server-side GTM with real people on the other end.
It is still a container you own. Bots and CRM sales are not listed as features.
Why people switch to it
- Generous free tier
- Human support, EU focus
Worth knowing
- Still GTM to build and maintain
- Extras add up
Best for: teams who want hosted GTM and someone to call. More in our Addingwell alternatives guide.

4. TAGGRS: best for agencies on server-side GTM
TAGGRS says 15,000+ agencies and brands use it. It hosts server-side GTM in the EU and adds a Meta CAPI Gateway for a quicker Meta setup. Its prices did not load when we checked, so see its pricing page.
Like every GTM host, it moves your container. It does not decide which events deserve to go.
Why people switch to it
- EU hosting, ISO 27001
- Meta CAPI Gateway
Worth knowing
- Still GTM to build and maintain
- Bots and CRM stages are your job
Best for: agencies standardising on server-side GTM. See TAGGRS alternatives.

5. Tealium: best for a full enterprise data platform
If JENTIS feels too small, not too big, Tealium is the peer. It has iQ Tag Management, EventStream for server-side events, a CDP and a very large connector catalog. Like JENTIS, prices are quoted.
It is a bigger project, often with a partner. It is built to route data everywhere, not to judge which leads are real.
Why people switch to it
- Huge connector catalog
- CDP and tag manager in one
Worth knowing
- Enterprise sales cycle
- Heavy for small teams
Best for: teams who need more platform, not less. See Tealium alternatives.
How to choose a JENTIS alternative
- Ask what you actually need. A pipeline to many tools, or ads that learn who buys?
- Check where your sales close. If they close in a CRM or on a call, you need the stages after the form.
- Look at your traffic. If bots fill your forms, you want one switch per platform.
- Count your destinations. DataCops covers Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X from one script.
- Price it in full. The plan, the onboarding and the hours to maintain it.
Pick DataCops if
- Your sales close after the form: a booking, a call, a visit, a signed deal.
- You run Meta, Google Ads, TikTok or LinkedIn and want the ads to learn who actually buys.
- You want to start today, see the price, and keep bots out of your ads.
When not to use DataCops
- JENTIS is built for large teams. Its strength is a long connector list, app SDKs and raw data access. If you need those, keep them there.
- You need custom tag logic or non-ad destinations. DataCops sends to ad platforms. If you feed other tools from a server container or pipeline, keep it for those.
What's your actual goal?
Nobody wants a pipeline for its own sake. You want five things:
- Capture every lead and sale, including the ones ad blockers and Safari hide. JENTIS does this.
- Send them to your ad platforms, so Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X learn who buys. JENTIS does this, once it is mapped.
- Include the sales that happen offline, on a call, in a clinic, in your CRM. We did not find this listed.
- Keep bots out, so the platforms do not learn from fake leads. We did not find this listed.
- Stay compliant, with consent checked and data deleted on request. JENTIS helps, with Essential Mode and your consent tool.
The traditional way, with JENTIS
- Book a sales call and agree a plan.
- Go through managed onboarding.
- Set up the tag manager and the Twin Server.
- Map each destination and its fields.
- Connect your consent tool.
- Build bot rules and a CRM flow, if you build them at all.
- Maintain the mappings when platforms change.
With DataCops
- Sign up free and add one script and one DNS record.
- Connect Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X.
- Switch on the consent manager.
- Switch on Real people only.
- Connect HighLevel or your CRM webhook.
Then run your business. Click IDs are kept for you, 90 days.
JENTIS runs the pipe for you. DataCops does the tracking job, so you can focus on what makes money.
Why people look past JENTIS
JENTIS is well built. People look elsewhere for reasons around the pipe, not in it.
- No price, no free plan. Every plan is contact sales. You cannot try it on one site this afternoon.
- It is shaped for enterprises. SSO, SLAs, solution architects and multi-brand containers. Useful at scale, heavy for a clinic, a store or an agency.
- Bots go through unless you handle them. We found no per-platform bot switch listed.
- The sale never enters the pipe. Booked calls and won deals happen in a CRM. We found no native CRM stages listed.
- Agencies are not the target. Multi-container and MCC management are built for big brands, not for one login across many small clients.
Offline conversions: the job a pipeline cannot see
Most businesses do not sell on the website. The website collects the lead. The money comes later, and that later moment is what your ads need to learn from. Here is what DataCops sends, by industry.
| Business | What the pixel sees | What DataCops adds |
|---|---|---|
| Clinics, dental, med spa | Booking form | Booked, showed, treatment paid |
| Home services, roofing, solar | Quote request | Estimate booked, job won with its value |
| Agencies running client ads | Form fills per client | Every client's booked, showed, won and paid |
| B2B and SaaS | Demo request, signup | Qualified lead, trial, paid, by webhook |
| Finance and high-ticket services | Enquiry | Consult booked, client signed |
From HighLevel natively, or any CRM by webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Each sale is matched to the ad click by email or phone.
- A visitor clicks your ad. DataCops keeps the click ID on your own domain for 90 days.
- The lead books, shows up or buys in your CRM, days or weeks later.
- DataCops finds the original click by the lead's email or phone.
- The stage goes to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X, counted once.
Ads Warmup: tell the ads who pays
JENTIS forwards what your site or store produces. A new ad account, pixel or campaign has nothing yet, so it pays to learn from scratch. That is a job a pipe cannot do, because the customers you already have never visit on command.
Ads Warmup, DataCops' flagship feature, sends them to your ad platforms before a campaign spends:
- Upload a customer list. A CSV of past buyers, old leads or booked calls. DataCops reads your columns; only email is required.
- See a match score for every person. An estimate from 0 to 10 from email, phone, name, location, click ID and customer ID, before anything is sent.
- Pick the event. Purchase, Lead, Complete registration, Add to cart or Schedule.
- Send server-side. Up to 20,000 people per upload to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok, with a sent, skipped or failed result per person. Google Ads credits only people who clicked a Google ad.
Each row is dated when you press send, not with the old sale date, so it gives a new campaign real customers to learn from on day one. Preview is free; sending needs a paid plan.
What else a pipe never does
- Capture at the edge. With DNS on Cloudflare, the free, optional DataCops Cloudflare Worker reads click IDs and UTMs off the first request, before the page or any script runs. It captures; it does not block.
- Keep the click on the server. gclid, wbraid, gbraid, fbclid, ttclid and li_fat_id are stored for up to 90 days, so a deal that closes weeks later still finds its click. A signed server-set cookie lasts up to 400 days where enabled.
- Check the lead's email. Fixed rules, not guesses: disposable providers, domains with no mail server and an email risk score. With LeadCops (Business and up), a lead that fails is held and never billed.
- Install on Shopify. The DataCops Shopify app adds a web pixel and a theme app embed, so every paid order reaches your ads, express checkouts included. See Shopify Conversions API.
- Hand evidence to Google. On the Organization plan, the fraud refund report exports bot-flagged Google Ads clicks in the format Google's Click Quality form asks for. You attach it; Google decides.
Meta health and wellness restrictions
If you advertise a clinic, a treatment, a supplement or anything health related, Meta may restrict the events it accepts from you. What usually gets an account restricted is the data itself: the page link names the treatment, the event is called Book_Implant_Consult, the form sends symptoms.
With JENTIS, a health data switch is not listed on its site. Keeping that data out means shaping each tag and connector yourself, or asking its services team, and doing it again for every new form.
With DataCops, you switch on health mode. It sends only a short approved list and blocks everything else: hashed email and phone, the ad click, value, currency and order ID. Page links are cut to the domain and event names go neutral, so Lead becomes L_1. A field a clinic adds tomorrow is blocked by default.
Read more on Meta health and wellness restrictions.
Setup, step by step, side by side
Here is the same job done both ways. JENTIS steps are based on its own site: contact sales, then managed onboarding. DataCops steps are what you do in the dashboard.
| The job | With JENTIS | |
|---|---|---|
| Get started | Contact sales, agree a plan, begin onboarding. | Sign up free. No call needed. |
| Get events server-side | Install the JENTIS script and Twin Server with its team. | Add one script to your site head and one DNS record. |
| Connect Meta CAPI | Set up the Meta connector and map events and fields. | Connect Meta with one click. Events go server-side from your subdomain, and pixel and server events are deduplicated by event_id, so each conversion is counted once. |
| Handle consent | Connect your consent tool, choose whether to use Essential Mode. | Switch on the built-in consent manager (IAB TCF v2.2). |
| Keep bots out | No per-platform bot switch listed. Rules are your own. | Switch on Real people only for each platform. |
| Send a CRM sale | No native CRM stages listed. Build it from raw data or a custom flow. | Install once on HighLevel and pick the clients, or post the sale to your webhook. |
| Find out why a conversion is missing | Ask support or your data team. | Open the delivery log row. The reason is written next to it. |
"Not listed" means we did not find it on the JENTIS pricing page or homepage in September 2026. We did not search its full docs.
"15 minutes to get server-side tracking live. After 3 days failing with another app and a DIY server-side Google Tag Manager, that alone sold me. Then support jumped on a Google Meet with me on a Sunday afternoon to finish the job."Andrew Forsyth, Chief Executive Officer, Zeald
What to know before you switch
- JENTIS is built for large teams. Its strength is a long connector list, app SDKs and raw data access. If you need those, keep them there.
- Moving is about ad conversions first. Move the ad platform sends to DataCops event by event, switch each one off in JENTIS, and each conversion is counted once by its event ID.
- Setup tip: there is no sales call. Start on the free plan with one script and one DNS record, and let your team compare numbers before the contract renewal date.
Whatever you switch from, DataCops runs the whole chain in one tool: sends to 8 ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X), Real people only per platform (off by default), a built-in consent banner with Google Consent Mode v2 and a server re-check before every send, CRM sales sent back to the ads, a delivery log with a reason for every row, and each conversion counted once by event ID or order ID. On the Organization plan you also get Cloudflare edge blocking and Google refund evidence.
Moving from JENTIS without losing tracking
- Add DataCops next to JENTIS. One script and one DNS record. Leave JENTIS running.
- Connect the same ad accounts, but send each conversion from one place only. Pick which events DataCops sends and switch those off in JENTIS, so nothing counts twice.
- Compare for two weeks in Meta Events Manager and Google Ads: match quality, conversions, and what DataCops skipped as bots.
- Connect your CRM (HighLevel or your webhook) to add the stages the pipeline never saw.
- Keep JENTIS for anything DataCops does not cover, like GA4 or apps, or end the contract when the numbers look right.
Every DataCops product mentioned here
- Offline conversions: CRM sales and stages back to your ads.
- HighLevel conversion tracking and DataCops for agencies.
- Server-side tracking and the no-GTM alternative.
- Meta Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking, TikTok Events API, LinkedIn Conversions API.
- Click fraud protection, SignupCops and first-party analytics.
- Consent manager, Ads Warmup and health mode.
JENTIS alternatives: FAQ
Can I warm up a new campaign with my existing customers?
Yes, with DataCops Ads Warmup. Upload a CSV of past buyers, old leads or booked calls (only email is required, up to 20,000 rows), see a match score from 0 to 10 for every person, and send them to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok as fresh signal, dated when you send. Google Ads credits only people who clicked a Google ad. Preview is free; sending needs a paid plan.
When should I keep JENTIS instead of switching?
JENTIS is built for large teams. Its strength is a long connector list, app SDKs and raw data access. If you need those, keep them there.
What is the best JENTIS alternative?
DataCops, for most ad-funded businesses. It replaces JENTIS and the rest of the stack: one script, a bot verdict on every visit, a built-in consent manager, server-side sends to 8 ad platforms, and your CRM sales matched to the ad click. Other picks depend on the job. It depends on what you want from it. If you need a managed enterprise pipeline with many destinations, a mobile SDK and an SLA, look at Tealium or stay. If you want a cheaper home for server-side GTM, Stape, Addingwell or TAGGRS. If you want tracking that decides which conversions deserve to go and adds the sales from your CRM, DataCops: one script, a bot verdict on every visit, a consent manager built in, and booked, showed and won sent to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X.
What is the JENTIS Twin Server?
It is the JENTIS hybrid setup, patented by them: tracking runs in the browser and on the server together, from one script that covers web and apps. It is a managed server-side pipeline, so JENTIS runs the infrastructure for you.
Does JENTIS filter bots?
We did not find a per-visit bot verdict or a per-platform bot switch on the JENTIS pricing page or homepage in September 2026. DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies, and with Real people only on for a platform, flagged visits never reach it. It is off by default.
Does JENTIS have a consent manager?
JENTIS offers Essential Mode, which measures traffic that has not consented in a pseudonymised form. We did not find a consent banner of its own listed; it appears to work with your consent tool. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, and website events wait for consent.
Can JENTIS send CRM or offline conversions?
Its site lists a long connector list and raw data access, but we did not find native CRM stages like booked, showed or won listed. DataCops installs once on your HighLevel agency and sends lead, booked, showed, won with value and paid. Any other CRM posts sales to a private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n.
Which ad platforms does DataCops send to?
Eight: Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Pinterest and X. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn and X connect with one click. Microsoft Ads, Reddit and Pinterest connect with an API key. Microsoft Ads uses its UET Conversions API, which Microsoft runs as a pilot, so ask your Microsoft account manager to turn it on.
Does DataCops have a mobile app SDK?
No. DataCops tracks websites. JENTIS lists a Mobile App SDK on its Professional plan, so if app tracking matters, JENTIS wins that row.
How long does DataCops keep click IDs and visitors?
Click IDs are kept 90 days. The visitor cookie, set from your own subdomain, lasts up to 400 days, which needs consent in the EU. Click IDs, sessions and the click log are deleted after 90 days.
